BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNING TIP

ACTIVITIES
Ask your daughter’s friends to bring their favorite fashion dolls and accessories. Have a play area. Plan a fashion show! Have 2 girls at a time go to a special table with their dolls.

Here they will become ballroom gown designers using scraps of cloth, ribbons, bows, doublesided tape and stickers. Shhh! Don’t let the other girls see!

(When they are finished with their doll design, their next stop is a different table decorated as a store counter. Let them sample a body spray, and hand cream. Finish up with nail polish.)

Tape a string of Christmas lights to a 2×4 to make a catwalk. Turn off the lights, put on music from the Cinderella movie, pass out flashlights. Voila! A Stylin’ Fashion Fever Show!

GAMES
1.Pin the Tiara on Cinderella.
Enlarge a picture of Cinderella, or of the birthday girl. Make copies of a paper tiara. Play pin the tiara on the princess.

2. Royal Freeze Dance
Use music from Cinderella. The girls all dance till the music STOPS! Last one to stop moving is in charge of the music. Last princess dancing gets a prize.

3.Hide and Seek
Kids also love to hunt for hidden treasures. Hide small toys throughout the party area and let the kids look for treats. Have a helper guide kids that can’t find their prize. You can hide their party favors and have them hunt right before the party ends as an exciting grand finale.

4.Find Your Slipper
Have all the girls take off their shoes and put them in a pile. First one to find their shoes wins. As each girl finds her shoes, they get a sticker.

5. Blindfold Shoestore
Have 3 girls blindfolded at a time. Put all the girls shoes in boxes and have the girls try them on till they find their own.

They can only guess by feeling the shoe. This will be a fun one to see on video tape! The winner of each heat competes with other winners. Prizes can be Cinderella slipper clips

6.Sweep Cinderella Sweep
Have two teams-2 balloons -2 brooms. Have girls sweep a balloon from one end to the other and back. Winning team gets stickers or an extra treat.

PINK PRINCESS PUNCH- strawberry sherbert and gingerale

FINGER SANDWICHES- make these with a heart shaped cookie cutter. Make lunch meat and strawberry cream cheese sandwiches with wheat bread on one side and white on the other.

STRAWBERRIES - dipped in white chocolate

HEART SHAPED COOKIES- have girls decorate them

PRINCESS PRETZELS- dip pretzel sticks in white chocolate. Add pink or red sprinkles

CHOCOLATE KISSES- every princess needs a kiss
