Decorations

Decorating your Cinderella Birthday Party can be easy and fun. Turn your home or birthday party venue into a fairy tale land for your birthday princess with these simple tips.

  1. Decorate the birthday princess’s chair with a Cinderella foil balloon and latex balloon bouquet tied together with color coordinating curling ribbon.
  2. Twist crepe paper streamer together to turn her chair into a princess throne.
  3. Set the party table with Cinderella plates, napkins, cups, treat boxes, blowouts, and tiaras.
  4. Place a Cinderella centerpiece in the center of the table.

  • Use lunch meat and strawberry cream cheese sandwiches with wheat bread on one side and white on the other.

  • Dip strawberries in white chocolate for a sweet treat.
  • Make a fruit plate and serve with vanilla yogurt.

Heart Shaped Cookies

  • Let the party guests decorate pre-made heart-shaped sugar cookies with white, blue, and pink frosting.
  • Give out heart shaped cookie cutters in the party favor bags.

Activity

Princess Doll Goes to the Ball

  • Ask your daughter’s friends to bring their favorite princess dolls and accessories.
  • Let the girls sit at a special table with their dolls.
  • Let them design ballroom gown using scraps of cloth, ribbons, bows, double-sided tape and stickers.
  • When they are finished with their doll’s gown design, let them have a fashion show with their dolls.

Games

Pinata- Fill your Disney Princess Pinata with toys and party favors ahead of time.

  1. Line up the children and have them hold hands in a circle.
  2. Hold the pinata above the group.
  3. Let each child hold a string and when you all count to three, say “Cinderella” and pull the strings on the pinata at the same time.
  4. Watch them scramble for the favors, candy, and toys.

Pin the Tiara on Cinderella

  1. Enlarge a picture of Cinderella or of the birthday girl.
  2. Make copies of a paper tiara and play pin the tiara on the princess.
  3. Give a prize to the child who puts the tiara closest.
  4. A princess tiara would make a great favor prize.

 

Royal Freeze Dance

  1. Use music from Cinderella. The girls all dance till the music STOPS.
  2. The last person to stop moving is in charge of the music for the next round.
  3. The last princess left dancing gets a prize.

Find Your Slipper

  1. Have all the girls take off their shoes and put them in a pile.
  2. The first one to find her shoes wins.
  3. As each girl finds her shoes, give them a sticker.

Sweep Cinderella Sweep

  1. Have two teams with 2 balloons and 2 brooms.
  2. Let the girls sweep a balloon from one end to the other and back.
  3. The winning team gets stickers or an extra treat.
